How can you create a belt and pulleys that keeps the belt at a constant length, and vary pulley diameter or center-to-center distance. I thought of using datum curves for pulleys and belt, is there a way you can control the curve length of the belt curve? Any thoughts? Thanks!

You can specify a constant length to a curve or sketch by using the perimeter command. In sketcher select all the curve/sketch entities of the belt curve and then go to Edit > Convert to> Perimeter and select a dimension that you want to vary i.e. ctr to ctr or diameter of one of the pulleys. You can now enter a specific value for the belt perimeter. Hope this helps.

Thanks, do you know if there's a way to vary more than dimension?
