Model changes in SolidWorks

Is there a way for a "Save As"ed part to update not just the assembl but the drawings too? Is there a way to change a drawing view's referenced model?

If your drawing is open when you "save as", the drawing file will update to your new save as file name. If not, it will look for the part/assembly file last referenced when it was open.

I do it same as Jeff.
Or you can open the dwg, before you click on Open, select references at bottom, browse to model you want.

Ok, but the drawing I am working on did not have that done. The file I have has Rev 3 whereas I am at Rev 6.

OK, here's a way to do what you need, but it's a hack.

Save your model as whatever version your drawing is looking for. Make sure your drawing is closed when you do this. Close the part/assembly. Open your drawing. Now open your part/assembly. Perform the Save As operation for your part/assembly to the proper version name while your drawing is open. Your references will now be correct, and your part/assembly name will also be correct. Delete old file names optionally.

In the Open dialogue, select the drawing file, then select the "References" button. Double click the path tot he part file and browse for the new one. Then open your drawing and be sure to save it so that it saves the path.

An alternative is to use "Solidworks Explorer". It's found in Start/Programs/Solidworks. Or you can launch it under the "Tools" menu. This tool will allow you to see the links a little easier, just use it to open the drawing and you'll see all referenced file. Right click the part and "Replace".
