Modal superposition sensative to Twin modes?

Dear all,

Does anyone know if the solution to a time history load (e.g. a water hammer) solved with modal superposition method (in e.g Caesar II) is sensitive to Twin modes in a similar way as a solution using the response spectra method for floor induced loads?
