We're using an ML1100-BB on an industrial blower and have a couple of servos ( that are controlled using a PID and the PWM. The servo manufacturer has put a voltage divider on-board for us to allow us to use the full 0-24v range of the PWM's, however, I've found that after looking at the wave on the scope, that we require a pull-down resistor between the signal terminal and ground or else we get odd outputs to servo because of a square wave that doesn't fully reach 0v. Is this normal and could we cause any harm to the controller by doing this? We're using a 1k resistor.
Thanks for any help.
