Hi

I have a Mitsubishi FX2n PLC which I use to control my house. One of it's main uses is to control the house alarm. I want to connect a modem to this PLC which will call my mobile phone if the alarm is activated, preferrably to indicate which PIR has been activated.
Can someone recommend what options I have available and what modem I should use

Thanks

Interesting,

When I was at collage I built a system that does what you want, Calls your mobile phone when the burglar alarm is triggered.
I did it using a chip intended as a telephone controler chip and made it use the redial function to dial out to my mobile.
This is probably no help to you as it is a different system to what you want. However if you think I can help in some way?
