Hello,

For ASTM A513 tube I know that when the thickness, t, is >3/16" the Ultimate Tensile Strength, Fu, is 58 ksi (Manual of Steel Construction - Allowable Stress Design, 9th Addition). But for the life of me I can't find the value for when t< 3/16". I'm searching for steel with a Fy = 32ksi. If anyone knows the Fu or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I suggest that you read A513. Each grade has its own minimum strength values. This is supplemental requirement 5, it must be spelled out or there material will not be tensile tested.
I don't see any grades where the strength is a function of the wall thickness.
