Hello all,
I have processed SS-420 using metal injection molding. The parts that are exposed to the process gas have blisters. But the side on the substrate does not have any blisters. Has anyone faced such an issue. Please let me know. Thanks

anybody out there to shine a light on this?

What density are you reaching?
Is there any hydrogen in the process?

Yeah, we’ve used MIM 420—it’s decent, just needs solid heat treat control.
