I am looking for a circuit that will detect the rotation of an object moving from 0 to 150MPH. at a distance of 20 feet.

Any information would be helpful.

Hi try using an optical chopper with an IR source and detector. That should work at 20 ft. depending on app and conditions. Hope this helps.
