I really need a free, small, easy to use static analysis software. I have found a small aplication named Microfeap. It's not free but it has a demo version (limited to 20 nodes and 35 elements). I started using it and made imediatelly a simply supported beam with a distributed load on it. The problem is that in the supports the momet is different from zero. So, please help me in some way. Those of you who have worked in this program please give me some hints or recomand me another program.

Beam!2D is also free if you want to try that instead. It too has a limit on the number of nodes in the free version but the results check out, and you can read it in english.

There is a free FEA analysis package called CadreLite which is from

It is an excellent program and you will be able to upgrade to the pro version, at a very reasonable cost, as your analysis needs grow too. There is also a thread about the program on this forum, just do a search.
