messagge error

An operation was attempted on an invalid or unsuitable OM object.
This is the messagge error, anyone can say me what mean, and in particular what is a OM object.
I'm traing , using Open API NX4, to find tha tag of the mesh in a simulation, i know that it has to be in the .fem file ... so i have found two tag object of type UF_sfem_mesh_type but no tag is good to find mash information. anyone can help me??

The OM is the "Object Manager", which is just a fancy name for the "data base", or at least the mechanism which NX uses to access objects in the part file data base. From the wording of the message, it appears that your program attempted to perform some operation on a particular object that was not valid for that object type.
