Guys,

If I have a model without geometry, can I select a set of nodes for example in a plane, and have elements be generated that will use those nodes? I have created the nodes by copying/reflecting them from adjacent nodes.

How would I do this?

Hello!,
I do not see the "picture" of your work corectly, then difficult to help. If you don't have geometry, you can create the geometry and let FEMAP to associate automatically the mesh to the geometry, take a look to this video:

If you have a mesh, instead to copy nodes only, why you don't copy nodes + elements?. This way you have what you need ...

Best regards,
Blas.

Agreed.
No way (that I know) to generate Elements from a Node selection. Gotta pick them one at a time.

Probably, your best bet would be to go back to the Nodes that you copy/reflected. Build your elements there. Which, I'm also guessing, is not quick and easy, either.
(Hey, sometimes it's just not quick or easy ;-)

THEN
copy/reflect the Elements. They will bring their Nodes with them.
