Good Morning Colleages,

I have been looking through the forum but I have not found anything related.

I am wondering if anyone of you could tell me which is the approximated self power consumption of a MV Switchgear panel (Feeder for static load) of the features: 33kV , 2000 A and 31,5kA sc.Auxiliary voltage supply is 230 V AC and 110 V DC

I would need to make a rough calculation of it.

Thank you very much in advance and regards,

Miguel .

I typically see a 25 kVA station service transformer, though that seems to be much higher than actual demand. A few thoughts to get you started:
DC:
<25 Watts per relay/device
0.5-5 Watts per panel light
??? DC powered emergency lighting
??? trip/close coil & charging motors can be a large draw for a short time period.

AC:
100 Watts per compartment for anti-condensation heat
??? for switchgear HVAC depending on climate and size
??? overhead lighting inside the switchgear
??? Battery charger per DC load plus losses plus battery recharge rate
??? trip/close coil & charging motors can be a large draw for a short time period.
