Hello all, I am new to this forum so bear with me :)

I am looking for medium voltage (we use primarily 4160v and 6300v)quick disconnect plugs and receptacles. We use a lot of 480v and are easy to find for low voltage, but I have yet to come across any for medium voltage. Do they exist and if so can someone point me in the right direction.

thanks in advance

Cavotec make HV connectors for the rail and mining industries. I had a look at their LV equipment a few years ago and was impressed with the build quality.

The only connectors I saw on their website was rated for 690v max. Did I miss something?

There are several manufacturers of medium voltage loadbreak elbow connectors. Google "loadbreak elbow connector"

Marechal also make connectors for the mining/shipping industry. Take a look at their website (English or french). Although not sure if they do MV

Can you use utility grade hardware? If so, look at the extensive lines of load break elbows, bushings and associated hardware which they use. I'd post some mfg links, but that might get me bounced for promoting them. Google 'Load break elbow'.

BomerSooner,

I'm struggling to find stuff on the website too, but here's a pdf of their catalogue. Usual disclaimer / no affiliation etc.
