Mechanism & relations?

I have an assembly (it's a 4-bar windshield wiper mechanism on a curved windshield) which I'm doing a fairly basic mechanism analysis on. The issue I'm having is that part of the assembly geometry is controlled by relations - i.e. the arm angle & blade angle change relative to the sweep angle per a couple graphs I created.

I was hoping Pro/Mechanism would take this into account when performing its analysis, but it doesn't seem to refresh at every iteration, so my wiper blade seems to plunge into, then fly right off the windshield at every stroke.

Is there a way to for mechanism to apply assembly relations at every iteration? Am I just missing some obvious little mouse-click?

Unfortunately, models are not regenerated during a mechanism solution so parameters and relations are not recalculated.

Depending on what you are trying to do, there are typically modeling solutions to achieve what you are looking to do. I was disappointed I could not use datum geometry to update during a mechanism study for a steering linkage, but I was able to use analysis features measuring distances to dummy parts to solve the problem, for example. You might have to do something similar.

What you might be able to do is create a joint and than drive that with the graph you created.
