Hi All,

I am trying out simulating the push button mechanism in pro/e.

In the mechanism I have a cantilever beam which is fixed at one and at theother end force is applied.

Is anybody had worked on similar simulation problem?

Also if let me know some help files available for downlaod on mechanism design.

Ajay

The description sounds more like statics problem than a mechanism. Pro/Mechanism uses rigid bodies. You may consider Mechanica for this one, with the large deformation option.

Dear ajay,if you need some tutorials on mechanism design then all you
need to do is to install pro/engineer wildfire2.0 on your
system.once you install pro/e then you will find three tutorials of
mechanism design in the demo folder of pro/e wildfire2.0
