Hey, I am a student and am designing a machine which is of cast iron pieces cut to size and shape as well as screws and nuts and bolts and gears. I want to test my machine on my PC before I invest on my machine so as to take out any chances of risk. Could you suggest a software that could practically test the machine like move the parts as it would in real world. Hope for your expert advice soon.

You can order the Pro/E Special Edition (Student) at http://www.ptc.com/go/sdrcideas. It has everything you need practically. It's $15 after shipping & handling. You can then contact CadTRAIN (http://www.cadtrain.com) and get their Primer CD (a intro to Pro/E tutorial), and request their student edition files.
