I had read several posts about this from several years ago and they were interesting.
BrettL had stated he was involved in a project where he would have 3 sensors per tire. ( hopefully he'll update us )
Is there a major advantage to multiple sensors ?
Is contamination from water, debris, etc enough of a problem that multiple sensors are required, and a voting system desirable ? ( or possibly was needed for very large tires? )
Most of the sensors I've seen are $200 and up in small quanities, but I see complete hand-held units for <$100
so inexpensive sensors must be available somewhere.
Link to Firestones thermal study was broken. Would like
to hear any experiences anyones had with measuring tire temperatures.
Thanks! RC
