I wonder if anyone can tell me how to measure high intensity eletromagnetic field(TV transmitter, min. 1kW) by myself.

Thanks

If you're measuring the field in the airwaves,I'm curious what you are trying to do? Maybe you're estimating whether the TV station is putting out full power from its' transmitter?
Normal antenna measurement techniques use substitution techniques (have a known source similar to your TV tower, radiate towards a receiving antenna and compare the result to what the TV puts out) or sometimes simple measurements in the far field knowing the loss of in the airwaves and the gain of the receive antenna and the power received.

describe your gameplan a bit more for better feedback.
Thanks,
kch
