Greetings!

I'm working on a calibration plan where tolerance is part of the requirement as basis on when to conduct a calibration for pressure, flow, level, temperature, pH and conductivity transmitters aside from the frequency. On mechanical-type gauges, are tolerances of these instruments be the same as the transmitters?

Ideally, what are the tolerances of these instruments? Is 2.0% of FS acceptable?

Thanks

I think you're not asking the relevant questions. Acceptability must be determined by you and your process requirements.

> What uncertainty do you need to ensure that your process is operating correctly and under positive control?

> What uncertainty do the primary and secondary standards have?

> Is there sufficient test accuracy ratio (TAR) (ideally more than 4:1)?

> If not, is there an alternative?
