new member, I did try searching for this:

How can I measure between 2 objects & specify the direction I want to measure in? I think so far what I have found was that I'd need to create an axis system, specify that axis, then customize the measurement to display the x,y,z and i'd get my respective measurement.

I think this will work but this can't be the actual workflow though right?

that's how I do it, when I need a measurement in an odd direction.

that's absurd!

Thanks for the reply
