Hello, everyone,
I am measuring the body's parameters of the seden car from the CATIA file, there is the detail information of the ARCs of a curve, such as the radius, start pionts, central pionts, and radian of the ACRs. I want to know How to calculate the MEAN RADIUS of the curve from these information.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Generally in sheet metal work the mean radius refers to the radius through the center of the material being formed. If you are given the internal bend radius of the material the mean rad is given by the rad plus half a material thickness. This is sometimes used to calculate developed lengths of formed components by calculating the length of the mean arc.
To be honest these calculations aren't actually very useful for real world applications. Most radii aren't true and in complex forms the thickness of the material can change.

What are you trying to do?
