Hello,

I am estimatning theorotical torque for Ball valve actuation.Is there any empirical formula exists to find out max pressure during closing of the ball.

Is follwoing formula can be used to find drop

Delt P= density of fluid*Speed of sound in fluid*Velocity of fluid/gravitational force
