Matrix Drawings

My company is contemplating the use of matrix drawings for all of our standard fasteners instead of creating individual drawings. If anyone has been down this road, I would be interested in hear any success of horror stories.
 
i believe this has been answered already
 
Family tables, edit them in Excel.
