Mating a flat bracket to a loft surface

Hi,
Its me again.

Any tips on mating a flat bracket to a mulit cross sectioned lofted surface? I tried using 3 points to the surface but on the mated points always protudes into the surface. Urggg.

Sometimes the best thing to do is setup a plane or axis for mating.

Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches.

To get a plane tangent to an organic surface...

[ol][li]Place a point on the surface. I prefer using a 3D sketch with a point constrained coincident with the surface. Add other dimensions and constraints and reference geometry as desired.[/li]
[li]Create an axis through the point and normal to the surface.[/li]
[li]Create a plane through the point and normal to the axis.[/li][/ol]
