Hi

I'm looking for properties of 826M40, specifically Youngs Modulus, Modulus of Rigidity and coefficient of expansion. I've already done a search through this form which produced some info but, not what I'm looking for. Can anybody give me some assistance please.

Thanks

allan

The Young's modulus, Shear Modulus (Modulus of Rigidity), and coefficient of thermal expansion are essentially invariant for alloy steels like 826M40. E is approximately 205 GPa, G is ~ 80 GPa, and CTE at 20 C is ~ 12.2 [μ]m/m C.
