er i would take a stab at it being steel

it looks like a specialized pave to me one thats just come out of the oven

however im onlysaying steelas that is the material we used at gt on the thermoplastic bikes

if its being cycled ie heated and cooled then it could be an alloy tool

Yes it's the specialized Tarmac frame ;-).

I'm thinking about to make my own carbon rim, but I have no idea what mold material i have to use.

(makers of the "lightweight wheels")

looks like the rim in the back is alloy?? does it matter which alloy?
