Material for shell and tube

Some one can help me with this following question. The question is if the material 13Cr-4Ni is a material than can be used for shell and tube heat exchangers? if this is true is where is it used a) for shell or b) for the tubes of c) for both shell and tubes. and second tell me in what cases of fluids is used 13Cr-4Ni?

As I have found out, "13Cr-4Ni" generally referes to a martensitic cast or forged stainless steel that is used in heavy section wellheads and in pump internals.

There is much information available on the net about erosion resistance of this material.

For heat exchanger tubes, a cold drawn material is best. Erosion should be non-existant.

Perhaps a martensitic version of ASTM A268 ?????

What properties do you need of these tubes ? Chloride/H2S resistance ?
