Can someone help me find a starting list to research further that contains materials with high elastic qualities which are not degraded by prolonged blood contact and repeated (millions of times) stretching. These biomedical materials must not fail over a period of several years after implant or breakdown and release harmful chemicals into the patient's bloodstream. They should be appropriate for bellows (diaphram) of an artificial heart. Thank You for your knowledgable input in solving this specialized engineering problem.
