Hi, I am considering building a masonry heater in my workshop and fueling it on turf/peat blocks.Has anyone tryed this and if so have you got any design advice for the heater.I am looking for around 6kw/20,000btu per/hour averaged over the 24 hour cycle. What size fire box and flue passages would be required? With turf beeing a relativley slow burning fuel would i need to add a forced draft system?
