Good afternoon all,
I'm new to the forum and I'm seeking some advice on construction techniques and probable costs to install pilings and runways for a 50ton travel lift at our marina located in the Thames River, Connecticut. While I don't have a geotech report on the soil conditions in hand for the specific spot we are looking to install this, from previous work at the marina we can assume there is no bedrock.

Advice on pile types, probable depths, quantities assuming runways of 50' +-, for a 50 ton lift, etc. would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

There is not nearly enough information in your post to give you anything but a wild guess. Talk to an experienced local contractor and engineer.
