Manufacturing process used for diffuser production

I need to determine what process would be best to manufacture the diffuser in a centrifugal pump. I have to investigate factors such as strength, wear resistance, surface finish, quality, volume, cost...etc. Anyone know where I can find such information? Any info whatsoever is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your brief explanation of the problem makes giving you an answer very difficult. Many factors come into play. Many production diffusers are simply cast (sand, investment, vacuum, etc). Precision equipment, custom, and one off projects often have the diffuser machined from billet or plate. Please give us more details to work with to provide you better answers.
