I was thinking of designing iphone, ipad, etc.. cases. I want to make them out of Titanium, does anyone know much a prototype would cost? Where I can I go get one?

Or where can I go to find out information??

If you are going to do some prototype or low number runs builds from Ti then make them from DMLS/SLS. You can get a near net shape and then just need to do minimal machining/polishing. I work in medical devices and we use this process when doing prototype or one-off designs for surgical instruments. I'll PM you one one of vendors and the contact there.

Hmmm can't seem to PM you do to a Visual Basic script error:

Ok just emailed you..

Why Titanium ... expensive and has to be machined

You're right I am looking for another material now.
What's a good, strong flexible rubber?

What' about aluminum??

Aluminum sounds good. How much does it cost to mfg per unit?Where can I get a prototype and prices?

how would you snap an iphone into an aluminum case? Doesn't the case have to bend?

Various iPhone 4 in the market and online stores such as
Amazon,ebay.com and slickfans.com all have iPhone 4 metal
case, and the key points is iPhone 4 has released 1 year
already and seems good to prepare for the next iPhone 5
case...
