How do I tell Pro to boundary blend specific line segments within the sketch and not have the boundary blend fail?
It would seem the functionality is there

Boundary Blend is really forgiving tool in Pro/E and there are rare situation it fails.

Common one is to sellect within CTRL a chain of curves for indicated direction. That is wrong. If this is the case Shift should be used instead.

Second- BB fails when selecting the boundary of curves with share the same surface or are tangent.

these are just quick insights of BB, because your problem is not enough clear to me.
