For those folks who have trouble/getting an error in saving as pdf for SolidEdge ST3.

Here is the fix gotten from SolidEdge support tech themselves.

I'm running SolidEdge ST3 on an x64 machine.

Velocity PS Printer 2.0 is supposed to install automatically during the install, but sometimes does not always work. Without it, you cannot save files to PDF.

Here is the email in how to manually install it:

SOLUTION/WORKAROUND
-------------------
The reason why this occurs on some machines only is not clear at this time.
The PDF Velocity Printer does not get installed properly by Solid Edge
Installer. But you might try the following workaround.

Make sure you have Administrator privileges on this machine

1. Create an MS-DOS command window
2. CD to "c:\program files\Solid Edge ST3\Program"
3. Execute 'DriverLocator.exe'
4. Make a note of this path
5. Manually copy the following files from source folder to destination...

Source: C:\program files\Solid Edge ST3\Printer Drivers

ps5ui.dll
pscript5.dll
PSDriver32\pscript.hlp
PSDriver32\pscript.ntf
PSDriver32\ugssepdf.ppd

Destination: Folder pointed to by 'DriverLocator.exe' in step 4

6. From MS-DOS command window used in Step 3 execute 'PrinterInstaller.exe'
(Make sure you run as administrator on Windows 7 OS)

7. Verify that Velocity Printer 2.0 shows up in 'Printers and faxes' on this
machine.

You are done! Now you should be able to 'Save As PDF' from Draft.

This worked for me! So gl to the rest of you!
