Manhole flange from plate ASTM A36

API 650 11th Ed. Section 4-6 state that nozzle flange shall comply with ANSI B16.5.
Is this statement also required for manhole flange?
If "yes" its mean, plate ASTM A36 could not be used as manhole flange & manhole cover?

API 650 has its own design of the inspection openings which are not B16.5 forged flanges. Accordingly, you can use the A36 plate.

Section 5.7.6.1.a states that manholes are excluded from having to meet the requirements of B16.5.
