hello all.
I have an 1800cc 8v vw inline 4. I want to fit a single 40/45 dcoe type carb using a 'lynx' inlet manifold that i have. (connects cylinders 1 and 4 to one choke and 2 and 3 to the other for those not familiar)
my question is what size chokes to use. there is plenty of guidance out there for when fitting twin carbs (one throttle per cylinder), but not for one. Because each choke is only ever supplying one cylinder at any one time because of firing order, does this mean the same size chokes should be used as with twin carbs because the max velocity through them is the same?
