I am searching for a source for low cost, low power lasers, either US or off-shore, not particular. We will be buying hundreds of them.

we are seeking something along the lines of the units used in laser pointers

630-680nm wavelength, 35 nw, class IIIa, elliptical red,

body diameter, 5/16", length 11/16"

thank you

May sound strange, but have you tried eBay? A number of small far east manufacturers have tried going the direct marketing route of this venue. There was quite a large assortment high power LEDs there when I looked. I don't doubt that the lasers would be there too. Hundreds are not all that exciting to distributors.

And are you sure about the actual power level? 5 mW is, I believe, the threshold for Class 3A. 35 nW is most likely Class 1.
