Lost Product Key for Viso 2000 Technical 1

I have lost my Product key for Visio 2000 Technical Edition disk part no X05-49704. Microsoft want $10 to generate a new one. I don't use it that much and I don't want to buy another one. Does anyone have this number?

I contacted Microsoft for a new CD key, but they told me the following: we don't make Visio 2000 anymore, so we can't sell you a new CD key for Visio 2000!

vtje, your message is contraditory to the two previous postings, so I suspect that you don't have a legal copy.

I have always gotten replacements by calling them regardless of what or how old.

If you give them the required information they will usually mail you replacement medai at no charge.
