I am in search of a 5mm x 30mm Allen Head Thread Forming Screw but can not seem to find this particular screw anywhere!

Does anyone know where I can find this screw? or possibly have it manufactured?

Thank you,

Does it have to be an Allen Socket? Those will be harder to source/manufacture.

How many do you need?

What material is the screw?

What material is the thread being formed in?

Does it have to be formed as opposed to cut

[cheers]

CorBlimeyLimey;

I need 1000 Zinc plated steel screws that, unfortunetly, have to be allen socket. Im not sure what material the thread is being formed in. They have yet to fill me in on this information, but forming or cutting works.

Thank you

It could be manufactured by any competent fastener manufacturer. A good one is Acument:

Thread forming is better than thread cutting. Look into using a TAPTITE thread.
