I am looking for any information regarding selling a product made in the USA and sold to a company inside the USA with the intent to export the product to Australia. 1) Is there a need to obtain the Approval certification from Australia for electrical products. 2) As I understand the information so far the product must be manufactured to CE standards and display the CE mark. Can anyone point me in the right direction for further information?

Sorry if this isn't the correct location for this question.

Thanks

In March 2016 C-Tick (and A-Tick) was replaced with the RCM mark in both Australia and New Zealand. In simple terms any product which contains a switch mode power supply, transistor, microprocessor, commutator, slip-ring motor or operates in a non-linear mode may be required to be branded with the RCM mark. Do a quick search on the ERAC or ACMA website for more detail.
