I have been googling for Joseph S. Ameen's "Community Water Systems Source Book", and find it amazing that there are so little references to purchasing the book. I live in SC, and this textbook is referenced by all civil engineers for calculating maximum instantaneous demand and fire flows for new public water distribution systems.

Where I work, we used to have the 1971 edition that one of our PEs owned, but he has since misplaced it. I have made a few scans from it, but would like to get a new copy for our office as well for myself. I just can't believe that there's so few references of the book using online search engines, and even those are links to community service purveyor articles which reference the book as source material.

The publisher is listed (best I can tell) as Technical Proceedings out of High Point, NC. I also haven't found anything on this publisher by googling. Any help here in locating how to purchase or get my hands on this valuable textbook would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the fast reply, CarlB! I'm not sure why that link or a link for didn't show up when I was searching. I will email that site immediately. Thanks again!

Did you get your copy? I am also trying to get a copy and your thread came up in my search. I emailed this morning to see if I could get one. I noticed the pdf is from 2001 though so I wasn't sure if it was still good.

Thanks!
