I am looking for a push-on stay-on/ push-off stay-off micro switch, does anyone have any idea where I can find such a switch.

Microswitches are rarely latching devices. Why do you want a microswitch instead of a more conventional type?

Where have you looked?

Clarify your needs a little more. "Microswitch" is actually a brand name (owned by Honeywell) of predominantly limit switches and the snap switch mechanisms used inside of them. That word however has been co-opted by lots of other people to denote the types of products made by Microswitch, but unfortunately now can mean anything from limit switches to snap switches to miniature push buttons or toggles.

These are often referred to as "alternate action" PBs. This might help your Google search.

Sorry for not being so cleared, the switch works like a mechanical pen. It's a DPDT type switch operating within 3A current; when you push in the switch button will stay in and remains in conntact, when you press again the switch will disengages and go back to the orgiginal position.

Thanks guys, your suggestions are very helpful to me. Thanks again.
