Log files and Dump files

Can anybody instruct me on how to clean out or remove "ILINK_ALL_OBJECT_REPORT.log" and "base_install.dmp" files safely on my data server?


Is this a good idea?


Is there a "ldbcompact.bat" file on my data server and if so, where is it?
