I am plotting a path, and then extracting the stresses acting along this path.

My question is: Are these stresses that I extract given in local or in global coordinates?

Many thanks

It depends on what your current rsys setting are. So, what are your current rsys settings?

TGS4 is correct. Component stresses will depend on the RSYS. And of course derived stress quantities such as principal and equivalent stress are independent of which RSYS is used.

TGS4 and Stringmaker, thanks for your tips. Yes in fact I checked 'rsys' and it seems my stresses are in global coordinates.
