Local Buckling Check of SHS column Stub Connection

How I can check the local buckling capacity of the HSS square column in through plate stub connection any reference or example from American code.
Or any design procedure / example of this type of HSS stub connection from British code?

AISC provides ultimate bending resistances for such connections considering some failure mechanisms, including the local buckling of the HSS you are referring to.
