This is my first design of Building with lift.It is a 7 storey RC framed building. The lift is to be housed in a RC framed structure. What are the loadings transferred from the lift installation (hoist, motor, car.........????)?
Since the passenger car moves, the dynamic effect is to be considered. What is the equivalent static load of this moving load? If we use double of the static load, would it be too high?
Really appreciate any expert could kindly advise me or give me the website and the literature that I can refer to.

For a lift ("elevator" in the US) you need to get that information from the lift manufacturer. They can provide the vertical loads (including impact factors) for you.

Also, there are lateral loads on the guide rails that run up the sides of the shaft.
