Hello everyone, I am new with Mechanica and I was wondering how to determine or graph a load vs. deflection graph. Also how do I set up a model to determine what load is required to bend an item.example: If I have a flat piece of steel constrained at one end, how do I determine what the load might be if it deflects some distance at the opposite end? Any help would be appreciated.

create a measure of load vs. deflection and plot this measure. From this plot you can predict "what load is required to bend an item"

Thank you for replying, I am new to mechanica, do I need to run a standard static load first followed by a study? I am not sure how to create this? Any help would be appreciated.

yes,

you need standard static analysis first followed by a study.
