Hi Guys

I was wondering what you generally use as a load factor for load combination of dead plus live plus vehicle impact.
ULS case for dead and live in the UK is 1.4D + 1.6L. If I added the vehicle impact, would I use 1.4D + 1.6L + 1.6Impactload? This seems quite severe and very extreme case.

Is there a UK code that gives a more lenient load combination? This is for vehicle impact to barriers on a multi storey car park

Thanks

Seb
