We've been demonstrating the reduction of BTEX, MEG and THC on condensate coming from the piping of LNG to shore from the North Sea - but not sure if this is an issue in the United States - as far as the level of contaminant and the ability to discharge to ocean or river (EU Regs). Can someone provide an overview of the issue here in the States and what, if any, the standards are?

thanks -

Hummm, LNG? There are loads of state and Federal rules on BTEX and HAP's. start with a 10 ton/year into the air limit and nothing to the waters!, for designs as you research the rules for your area.
