I work for a prestressed concrete company. We use Presto to analyze our planks, one of the options is Live Load Recapture (yes/no). Could anyone give any insight on what this is exactly?

Asking Leap/Bentley would be your best source. I've only heard of Live Load Recapture in relation to Presto. My sketchy understanding is that this option allows an increase in the effective prestress under live load by accounting for the extra tension in the tendon due to the live load moment. This would be similar to the way tension in the tendon due to dead load is accounted for to reduce creep and shrinkage losses.

I can't vouch for Live Load Recapture being appropriate or my understanding of it. Hope that helps.
